Okay, go talk to five people. ask them what they think of TMIII. at least one will say they like it.

Well I'm that one person.

GRAPHICS: blocky, ugly, jagged. Not a good quality overall. The 3D models look absolutely horrible. The cutscenes are ugly, and Calypso looks green.

SOUND: Meh. Licensed tracks are ok, but I really miss the Holland theme from TM2. The explosions boom appropriately, and voice acting is good. But the machine guns hitting something sound odd. Couldn't they just use the pinging sound?

CONTROL: not too slidey, and not too tight. But vehicles all seem pretty slow. Even SPECTRE seems like a senior citezen is behind the wheel.

AI: at most times, The AI seems like the drivers are drunk. But once they spot you, they hunt you down ruthlesslly. No escape.

Now, let me talk about the arenas. They rang from great,(Washington, L.A.) to bad (Blimp, North Pole). The North Pole is horrible because of the big ditch. You fall in, and have to climb back out. While Washington is great, it seems to dull.

Vehicle time! We have all the usual suspects. And four new vehicles. I personally like Club Kid and Auger, but most fanboys hate anything that 989 make. Sweettooth acts incredibly stupid, and the new head on top is much worse than the superior always-facing-you tm2 head. Thumper got screwed up for the most part. No flamethrower. But the new schockwave special is useful for pushing enemies into things. Club Kid has the most unoque special in the game. He lays down a whirpool thing and enemies get sucked into it before exploding. I give them kudos for that.

Now, for the Weapons. All of the usual missiles and bombs, but the speed missiles suck out loud. Also horrible, the new lightning. Cheesy, Over powered, and can win the game quickly.

All In All, A good game. Rent it, And, If you like it, Buy it. Simple!

I'll give it an 8.5
