We have the technology but we never really used it to its peak protential...
As a gamer who views himself as a nonbiased reviewer I find myself having a really hard time searching for words to compliment TW2. To be blunt even through the developers improved the sequel greatly over the orginal its pretty easy to see why this game was delayed from its orginal launch date too the new year. From the opening seconds to throughout your adventure you should prepare yourself for a rather unusual experence that will frustrate you and maybe even turn you away completely from this title.
Let me say first of all if you purchase the ps3 copy like I did you will find framerate issues throughout your adventure. This issue is minor but its a constant annoyance that rears its ugly head in very bad moments such as character interactions during the game which sometimes causes the game to chop off a word or two at the end of sentences or sometimes make mid conversation pauses which is very frustating at times.
Another problem I found was that the melee system was just horrible. At times the game engine would show your character hitting your enemy without the ai blocking and taking no damage at all and other times the ai would block and take damage when it was obvious that it shouldn't of. Its a problem that happens alot and is really frustrating when your battling several different foes at once.
Anyways theres many other issues I would like to go in to detail about but can't due to limited space for this review but in closing rent this game before buying you will probably thank yourself later for it....
