It's a game that give the player a ton of freedom, but it's too hard to look past all it's blatantly obvious bugs :(.
The graphics are alright, but the performance is terrible.
The itemization is fantastic, but the combat is clunky and balance can be an issue.
The story is decent, but the voice acting is guaranteed to give you a headache.
The freedom is amazing, being able to complete some of the more complex quests in different ways, but many of the quests are full of bugs and glitches just waiting to ruin the experience.
The itemization is a big plus for this game. There are literally hundreds of different sets of armor, all with different stats and abilities, and if you find two identical items when you're out hunting or shopping, you can combine the two into a stronger version of the original items. The player is also given an incentive to focus on collecting one set of armor, as having a full set (helmet, body, legs, hands and feet) will give a stat bonus to your character, and also make him/look her pretty bad-ass in the process.
On top of that, you can enchant weapons with elemental gems (no limit to the amount you can put in), which means you can potentially bring one set of armor and weapons with you through the whole game if you keep upgrading them along the way. You'll never see two players with the same gear on.
Unfortunately there are so many little bugs in the game that can ruin the experience. Just recently I finished a main quest line which took a good half hour to complete only to have the quest reward bug out and not be given to me (no exp, money or items). Earlier I had a quest that required a key given by a quest giver that was never given to me. I ended just killing the quest giver instead (might as well get something out of the whole ordeal)
Overall it's an okay game, but it's no where near as polished as most players expect a game like this to be.
