I picked this game up at Blockbuster thinking "Oh cool, a free roam adventure similar to The Elder Scrolls. Maybe it'll be good."

Well, I put the game in my console and started playing the game. I noticed the first nail in the game's coffin in the first friggen minute of the game. EVERYONE'S CROSSEYED! I'm not joking. The next issue I found was combat. It was clunky and ridiculous. The main character was swinging his sword around like a baton and it was hard to hit what I was aiming at. After my first attempt at combat, I realized; I was doing almost no damage to the bear I was fighting. I explored a bit after barely winning my bout with the bear and found people to talk to and I realized another issue. The voice acting is stupendously bad. Also, I was amazed at how far I could see, my vision seemed to go on for miles, but I soon realized that it could be because of the plain, uninteresting graphics. Now, with these plain graphics, you wouldn't expect frame rate issues. Nope, they screwed that up as well. Once I learned about weapon augmentation, combat got ridiculously easy with the right enchantments. The story was where I gave up on the game thinking nothing was salvageable. The main character's family is apparently infected by something called simply "the taint". That's when I knew the story would suck big time. Don't buy, no, don't even rent this game.
