"This game has a steep learning curve!"
Presentation: When you first pop in the disc, you will notice that the main menu includes gorgeous styleized menus and the music is a perfect fit! But, after you play the game a couple times, the menu graphics wear out their welcome. The fighters are perfectly designed, and they look exactly as their real-life counterparts! When you begin a bout, the "tale of the tape" feature looks like it was pulled right off of television. Also, the graphics run at a silky smooth 60 frames per second when in a fight, and there is no slow down whatsoever! All UFC personnel including the ring girls, commentators, referees, and the over 100 fighters are perfect, right down to the bone! The commentating team of Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan do an excellent job of talking about what's happening in the ring. They have a much varied script, that is much better than last year!
The Verdict: Overall, if you can overcome the steep learning curve, almost unplayable online play, menu-heavy career mode, and sticky submission controls, then UFC 2010 Undisputed is the game for you! It's clearly better than its 2009 best-seller, and its clear that this will be a best seller as well! Even if you aren't a fan of the UFC, this is still a very good fighting game that executes every aspect of the real UFC 100% perfect!
