Just bought it as digital download... and it's better than aftermath and I rate it with a 9!!! It's GREAT!!!
There's a lot to talk about, from the gameplay tactics to the multi-level layout (not available in aftermath), to the way you develop your characters and the dynamics you can create by mixing different types of skills and the results you get out of them... EXCELLENT gameplay!, in my opinion, of course.
Good music to enhance the tension you get when being overwhelmed by many opponents and the greatest sensation of getting out of there alive... Uh! :)
If you have played some other squad-based game, and liked the fact that it's your decisions what counts towards a victory, this game offers this unique way of gameplay, most of the timey I played in slow motion mode and pause just to deal with the dire situations you often have to face...
The scenarios are really small, but... would you say a chess board is a small place to play one of the best strategy games in history?, that depends only if you like strategy, and know how to get the depth it's needed to enjoy it.
There are minor faults to the game most of them regarding how your patience is challenged... an object may block your line of sight (yours, not your characters), but finding the right angle is also fun... It all depends on how you approach your games... as a reviewer, or as a player...
Let me tell you, I'm all for the fun of it, and as a player of strategy games,
I really had a good time playing through this one... It's one of my favourites, even if I had to "Wait" all this time to play it... ;)
