If you have played Spiderman 2 then you have played this game already!

To start I am a spiderman freak and i LOVED Spiderman2 last year. Well where to start , if you have played Spiderman 2 then guess what you have already played this game also. The game almost instantly reminds you off Spiderman2 RIGHT out of the gates , and its quite shocking that at every corner of this release as you progress is IDENTICAL concept. The repetitious missions have not changed AT ALL , right down to coin collecting / saving people from falling off of buildings / catching crooks trying to steal purses / taking people to the hospital on a time limit. Its quite shocking the similarity of both releases , its almost disturbing as things we all hated from Spiderman 2 are ALL here basically still in tact. I will also go as far as saying the swinging mechanics in Spiderman 2 are better, BUT thats not to say these are bad.. In fact as stated the game is so similiar the swinging is the same just slightly dumbed down as far as what you can do while swinging.. Its still a great feel in this release eitherway. Alright lets get down to whats good about the game : The comic book graphics are really awesome , with sliding comic panels basically coming to life in front of your eyes.. The content matches perfectly with the whole overall feel / look of the game. I don't know what else I can even say about this release as the rest in my opinion is identical to Spiderman 2. ALright why did I give it a 8.0 ? This game is great JUST LIKE Spiderman2 , the big dissappointment here is not that this game is bad its ironically just because the similiarities are unbelievable and we ALL were expecting something revolutionary or AT LEAST different. YES you play as venom , yes its cool , but as you will see its not exactly enough to really change my opinion on the release. Here is the real low down on deciding whether to make the purchase or not , this is dead simple. IF you purchased Spiderman2 don't even bother with this , rent it and find out everything I have said is true. IF you didn't buy Spiderman2 last year snatch this bad boy up cuz the effects and content I think are much more in tune with spiderman , and what we all want. COMIC STYLE!! This is an awesome game IF YOU DIDN'T pickup Spiderman2 , now is your chance to get a wicked Spidey game.
