So-So Spider-Man is more like it.
One of the features that the game had that i thought should have been a blast was playing as venom. In the beginning of the game you can only play as venom in story mode only, but once you beat the game venom is unlocked and your aloud to use him in free roam around the city and wreck havoc and destruction. This sounds incredibly fun but it kinda becomes boring and meaningless after about the forth time doing it.
Being spider-man in the game is a blast though, web slinging around a beautiful city. It makes you feel as if your actually in the comic books. In story mode you do some diffrent things like fight this one guy, chase this other guy, and save some people over there (you know normal superhero stuff). As for when you free roam around the city you can save people or there are acual events such as races and combat fights. Combat fights are when you go around and clean up the city from diffrent groups of gangs, which is pretty fun.
The game also has some unlockable costumes and concept art. The costumes are a nice touch but i found myself really only wanting one of them real bad and that was the venom suit for spidey, which is freakin sweet and the only costume really worth getting cause the rest kinda suck besides the one where you can be Peter Parker. To get theses you have to find certain comic book cover, landmark tokens, do some races, city events, and combat events which are all scattered around the city.
All in all I like this game and any spider-man fan will, i would just say rent it first and if you love it alot buy it. Well thats all i got and thanks for reading my review.
