A typical beat-em-up with the addition of web sliging and the option of playing with Venom. That's all I can say about this game because there isn't many good things to say about it. The addition of Venom would have made this a classic but this game had to many problems from the get-go. The problem with Spiderman's previous installment wasn't fixed where you fight repetitive random goons, web-slinging takes a dive from the innovation it was in spidey's last game, and the racing across the city was just annoying. As much as I wanted to enjoy myself playing this game I just couldn't. The fact that the story was too short didn't help and not even the addition of other marvel characters could help this title from sinking to the depths of the Hudson River. Maybe next time Spidey... maybe.
