Best game I've played this year.
Story mode will place you in the shoes of Nathan Drake on a quest to find Shambala. The game starts with Nathan inside a train; injuried, you must flee from the scene before the train falls into the abyss. After this, Nathan will have some flashback memories which help explain the story for this sequel.
As with the previous Uncharted, the single player experience is very solid and the good thing is that ND improved some aspects of the game to give it a better look and a smoother feel. Aiming and jumping, for example, feel way better now as compared to Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. The graphics department is where ND put the most effort into. From the minute you start playing you'll notice that this is the best looking game on consoles.
Multiplayer has been added for this sequel, adding tons of hours into play time for this game. In multiplayer you'll be able to play deathmatches, objective oriented matches, and co-op.
While story mode doesn't actually have a co-op mode, you'll be able to play in certain locations in story mode to complete certain objectives. This must be played in parties of 3 players.
The best thing about multiplayer is not only the fun but also the reliability. During the time I've been playing this online, I've never experienced lag or disconnections at all.
The game also features a great sountrack and voice acting. These two play an important role in story telling and add to the feeling of the game.
Uncharted 2 is a great game that no PS3 owner should pass. With a lengthy and interesting story mode plus multiplayer features, this is a game that will keep you busy for a lot of time.
