Uncharted 2 is a superior sequel. A must have for all PS3 owners.

Simply put, Uncharted 2 is my game of the year recipient so far. As a sequel, it improved on nearly everything you could gripe about (and who does not like griping?) in the original game. Toss in a fun fantasy adventure, excellent voice acting (and motion capture), and a presentation that blows away all competition, and you have a AAA title that you should never be without. (Oh...and there is also multiplayer...like online multiplayer will ever catch on*...)
This is a game that is hard to pick apart. Such good content makes it difficult to find the nasty nuggets. The gunplay is much more enjoyable this time, thanks to enemies that will actually drop dead when shot and tighter, more accurate aiming.
There seems to be more gunplay, and a larger focus on combining the shooting experience with climbing. This results in some rather original gun battles that are actually FUN to replay.
SO...everyone knows this is a better game than the majority of modern releases out there, so I shall, once again, focus on the negatives...

OK, the one thing that caused undue annoyance was occasionally the cover system. That's pretty much it. And only occasionally. Mostly it worked exceptionally well. (Still, my favorite cover mechanic is Rainbow Six Vegas...)

So...buy the game. Enjoy the fun story, laugh at the characters and their sharp zingers and inherent nerdiness, and take a good moment to really appreciate the cut scenes in this one.

A masterpiece of the current generation gaming.

(*this is sarcasm to all who didn't notice...online gaming is fun. Some might call it cool even.)
(Post Script Gripe- I had no life yet again as others sat down and would NOT LET ME LEAVE until I finished the game...)
