One of the best games made in 2009!
The gameplay involves you running and gunning your way through enemies by using the "over the shoulder" view; which is something thats commonly found. The gameplay also features a lot of action the moment a gun fight starts, either by you or by the enemy. The jumping may be automatized since its possible to make any kind of jump as long as its reasonable length. You will be required to solve puzzles, which is not to difficult since you have the journal to use (for some puzzles) and if you get stuck, there's a hint system that gives you hints as to how to proceed through the game whenever you seem clueless as to how to continue (i.e. don't know what to do).
The graphics and appearance is just stunning. In either a scenario of a gun fight, solving puzzles or walking around, you can see the detail and realism in a lot of objects in the environment (i.e. snow likes very real). Also, when you're high up on a building when you're in Nepal, the skyline of the village is gorgeous. With the mixture of debris flying everywhere when fighting a helicopter, this provides a realism outlook since this is exactly what happens whenever someone fights a helicopter in a movie.
Although the voice dialogue is corny at times, the voice actors manage to carry that out very well, as if the game was written by a scriptwriter who works for movie studios. The music never gets annoying. In fact, after playing this game for a while, you may start to "hum" the music for the main menu.
The online feature is also amazing. The online competitive features a 5 on 5 team deathmatch throughout the competitive modes. There is also a feature where you and up to 2 people can play a certain part of the story; this means you can buddy up with your friends for some non-stop action. Although the story mode may be about 7-12 hours long, depending on how well you rush the game, the online mode will definitely increase in the number of hours spent on this game.
For those with a PS3, this is a must buy! Not only is this a must buy, but this game is a potential nominee for the Game of the Year. Once again, get this game, it will be worth the 60-70 dollars considering its been released for about a month.
