A reason to get excited about games again!
It's a game, it's a movie, it's just flat out entertainment! From the moment your injured, blood stained body spills out the side of a train perilously hanging from a cliff, to the inner bowells of Shambhala, it's non stop awesomeness!
In total honesty, I had though I was nearly done with games. All I could play was online multiplayer, story mode was just something I couldn't fathom anymore. This game changed all of that from the first play forward.
The voice acting, cutscenes, animations, graphics, storyline, and gameplay are all top notch! Beyond top-notch. I have not had the will to fully beat a story mode portion of a game since The Ocarana of Time.
I must warn you though... Once you play this game, it might make everything else seem very sub-par. A must buy, and my hands down pick for GotY.
