With an Epic Campaign, and highly addictive multiplayer, Uncharted 2 improves greatly on its predecessor in every way.
Uncharted 2 delivers on all fronts, this time round the story mode gives players a more in depth look into the life of the lead character Nathan Drake and introduces us to some shady characters from his past.
The campaign has an all round epic feel to it and makes you want to keep going, the game takes us to a wide variety of locations from Istanbul to Nepal as Drake searches for the lost city of Shembala. Along the way you will encounter your fair share of dangerous pitfalls, tricky puzzles and hardcore boss fights, which one would expect from the company that gave us Crash Bandicoot.
The voice acting and character animations are flawless and each character brings something different to the table, put together with the stunning environments and great gameplay mechanics makes for a Single player experience you will never forget.
Naughty Dog made an epic decision to include an online multiplayer mode, which, also had many Uncharted fans on the fence, but in the end delivers intense team battles and a variety of innovative game modes such as Plunder mode where each team have to fight for a neutral treasure and return it to their base.
The multiplayer mode also incorporates a currency system in which players earn money by getting kills and playing objective based modes. this money can be used to purchase costumes and power ups (called Boosters in-game) to customize your multiplayer experience.
To sum it up, Uncharted 2 is a great single player game with good replay value and an addictive online multiplayer mode which will have you locked in for days. You are definitely getting more than your moneys worth and you certainly can't go wrong with this game.
