Uncharted 2 is beautiful, immersive, and everything that is awesome
Story: uncharted 2 has a very easy to understand, unpredictable, and satisfying story line. you play as drake the fortune hunter. you are trying to find a stone that is wanted by a very bad man. along the way you meet some of your old friends from the first unchated.you also meet some new friends and there is a few backstabbing elements going on that makes the story believable and the characters so life-like. the relationship between these character are easily felt. there are a lot of tension between the characters and you can tell that cloe and elena hate eachother for the most part.
Gameplay:there is almost nothing new to uncharted 2's shooting mechanics. you still take cover and pop out to shoot and go back in to cover. however, the level designs are way better this time. you dont have a bunch of enemies coming at you at one time. you usually have maximum waves of 8. you dont have to stay in cover for 20 minutes like the first game. and the combat has been modify a bit. you dont have the give-me-more-bullets combo anymore. it is replaced with a counter system. when the game pause for a quick second and you see your enemy swinging at you, you can dodge using triangle. there is also a stealth mechanics which works really well. ill even go as far as too say its as good as batman aa. you will be traveling with an ai partner most of the time. they do not get in the way and are quite useful, helping you solve puzzles and platforming. the characters will be cracking jokes quite often to keep you entertained
Graphics and level design: uncharted 2 has amazing looking graphics, the best looking game todate. some how the developers made the level designs so awesome it is unheard of in video games. it is comparable to the kind of action you would see in movies.every thing from fighting a helicopter on a moving train to jumping from truck to truck while getting shot at. uncharted 2 is the most technically stunning game ever. and it is not just parts like that, the whole game is that way.
Multiplayer: uncharted 2 has a surprisingly great multiplayer. there are a veriety of modes like deathmath, king of the hill, capture the flag and treasure run where you find the treasure and run it to the targetted area. the coop are also great. you can do missions, run treasures with enemies in the way, or just survival. from what i experienced everything seems to be lag free.
Flaws: even though uncharted is arguably the best game ever. it has some flaws. platforming are somewhat sluggish and sometimes nate just refuses to do what you tell him. but if you dont lose your patience it is quite easy. also, there is a few places that looks like you can climbed on to but you cant. the cover works well but drake could go into cover when you are trying to roll out of harms way. it is a bit unrealistic due to the fact that some human enemies wont die right away like theyre suppose to from grenades and rockets. and toward the end there are supernatural elements which destroy the reallistic feels previouly felt in the game. and when you pick up weapons, it is also unprecise when there are a bunch of goodies laying together.
I give this game a 10 despite the fact that it has some flaws. the level of technical feats in this game is an 11. and the most of the flaws are understandable. GO BUY THIS GAME. I think this is a game that can be enjoy by everyone.
