Uncharted 3 is 2012's best shooter. A masterpiece in cinematic gaming.

Uncharted 3 isn't just a game which builds upon its predecessor, it overhauls it, bringing in major changes which re-define the whole Uncharted experience.

Gone are the days of jumping out of an incoming grenade; Nathan Drake now has the ability throw back live grenades. Drake can also perform multiple simultaneous counters. Stealth has been improved so it can be performed in a variety of situations.

Though, the story isn't as emotional and nail biting as its predecessor's. It, nonetheless, has an excellent pacing and rarely overstays its welcome. Unlike its predecessor, Uncharted 3 starts off slowly and winds up to an exhilirating thrill ride that Uncharted fans know so well.

Uncharted 3 lives up to its lofty expectations and raises them some. A must play.

A genuine GOTY contender of 2012.
