Naughty Dog once again delivers another triumphant adventure for PS3 owners.

User Rating: 9 | Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception PS3
If you played the previous two games then you kind of have an idea of what to expect. If you haven't, you can still jump into this game and enjoy it. You'll be lost when it comes to some of the characters and their history with Drake, but nothing imperative to the story.

Everything in this game is top-notch; from the frenetic pace of the combat to the clever (but not too clever) puzzles you encounter. And let's not forget the characters themselves. The most endearing cast of video game characters in video game history. There, I said it. The back and forth banter, the way they actually feel like REAL people; it's just amazing how authentic they feel to the point where once your journey is over you actually regret it and wish you could keep playing (or maybe that's just me and my lack of real-world friends); no matter. The characters are just as much a reason to play this game as the actual gameplay.

The one thing I will say is the overall story felt a tad bit weak this time around, and not nearly as memorable as the previous two. It's still worth playing, but to me the story was light and honestly wasn't that compelling to play through. The mechanics are pretty solid through and through; the sound FX hit hard; the music is Oscar-worthy; and the writing is as witty as ever.

Multiplayer also returns and is well-worth it (if you didn't buy this game new to get the online pass). There's competitive MP as well as co-op, so people like me that suck at competitive modes can still join in and have fun online without worrying about getting my ass handed to me on a silver platter by some 10-year-old in Nebraska.

Simply put: If you're like me and you fell in love with this IP when it debuted, this is a no-brainer. If you're new to this series it's worth your time and energy to play this and understand why the hell everyone else has been bragging about it since 2007.
