Until Dawn does a lot of things right. It has the perfect balance of a scary and mysterious story that will always keep you hooked till the end. The cast nailed the cheesy horror movie esthetic and it feels like you're playing a movie. The monsters in this game a creepy and have some intriguing lore that warrant exploration so you find all clues. The totem system in this game although cool, isn't something that is helpful to new players as most of the glimpses are impossible to tell whats going on. The game also has a tendency to throwing a relentless amount of fake out jump scares which was annoying. Overall this game is fantastic and the "Don't move" mechanic is the icing on the cake when it comes to horror immersion and that gets lifted further with the original score
