TO SHORT, TO EASY...BUT STILL AN OK GAME

User Rating: 6.7 | Urban Chaos: Riot Response XBOX
When i got this game, i was kind of expecting it to be like that first urban chaos, going around a city, killing and arresting rioters, but its just an everyday first person shooter completely lacking originality. Although its set in a riot (which in my opinion is a pretty good enviroment to set a game) the story line is lacking, as is the graphics, the gameplay and the overall game itself.

This is the first gme since batman begins ove completed in the first day of getting (and i dont play games all day non stop). I found every level the same, going into a building or into some area of the city and rescuing injured civilians or emergency workers...after a while this kinda boring, but for some reason, you stay at it.

The choice of weapons is a little disappointing, i was expecting a little more, even though there is quite a few, magnum being one of my favourites. the sound isnt to bad either, its probably the best thing about this game.

The sheild is a nice feature, but nothing new, i use it on counter strike all the time. But i have to say, the most annoying aspect of this game is the dam hostage situations, they are so unrealistic, normally a magnum kills a guy with one shot on the game, even if you shoot them in he leg, but when it comes to the hostage situations, it took upto 3 shots in the head with it to kill the hostage taker (and i know i hit him in the head cos when you hit them they move) i mean, how unrealistic is that!?!?!.

The graphics in the game are nothing special, and obviously dont use the xbox's full potential.

What im getting down to is that this is a deffinite rent, because any gamer with slight skill could easily complete it within 24 hoursof playing, and after that, whats the point in having it? If anybody asks you if you know what urban chaos is like, reply..."2 words, nothing special", then if they go ahead and buy it anyway, they are fools and deserve to have wasted their money.
