Despite spending 200 hours on this game already, I still kept going.
The developers were smart to introduce a fat ton of unlockables including characters, weapons and other forms of collectibles like medals and titles. This translates to unwavering loyalty from fans or turned casual players into instant fans (ya, it's me) who would go to great lengths (of time) to clinch the ultimate title or weapon when the sudden mood kicks in.
The calculating relationship between good vs personnel but weak vs tank, light but vulnerable, strong but slow makes the gameplay engaging and intensely strategic. The capture-the-flag system also strengthens the cat and mouse strategic element. Other than that, it has a great story to boot. Though I still have a lot of stuff to write about VCII, I'd rather use the time back on the game.
