Who would have thought that something so small could tell such grand a tale?
The battles are flawless, the controlls are easy to master, and the depth of the game is simple for beginners and deep a an ocean for those who wish it.
The mix of Norse mythology is a really nice addision to the PRG genre, even dispite the fact that its so inacuratley depicted in the game (Odin only has one eye, damnit!)
Many said the Into was horrid in its lenghty storytelling, but i fond it to be just right, you get to save approx. every 15minutes and you get to control the characters from time to time.
Trust me time flies with this one.
The english voice cast could have done a quite alot better job, but the music more than pays up for it.
As do the new cutscenes, absolutley astonishing, but who expects less from Square Enix ;)
Conclusion:
This is a brilliant RPG thats unlike almost every other RPG outthere.
So if you like RPGs and havent played the original Valkyrie Profile for the Playstation, you best not miss out.
If not, it's still worth a play throuh at the discount price it goes for these days.
