Stealth kill fun until..............

I had absolutely no interest in this game at first. It looked like another low budget under the radar stealth kill ripoff game(I guess that's kind of what it is). However; finding it online for $2.75 brand new caused my frugal/curious side to take over. This game is not terrible by any means, but its certainly not good. The stealth kill mechanics were perfectly functional. The controls were manageable and responsive. And the game tries to weave together a little bit of a story and its just enough to keep you interested. Basically all you need to know is you are a foxy woman wearing tight clothes, working for british intelligence and you are killing nazis. And if you are anything like me killing nazis is always a bonus because lets face it nazis are the quintessential bad guys in the lexicon of bad guy history. The graphics aren't too bad although they don't really impress either. The game isn't overly impressive to look at and while I understand the bland/drab color schemes(browns and grays anyone) helps convey mood and also helps remind most people that this is set in the WW2 era it also makes the game look overly dull. Often times the game also became too repetitive. Its hard to fault the game too much for that however just for the fact that many stealth kill games are similar. It just felt like there was too much time sneaking around in bushes and grass. The difficulty was about right I suppose, but the enemies were usually pretty stupid. They wouldn't see you if you were standing in a shadow directly in front of them, but the moment they did see you things went to crap. Lets get to the main issue that I had with this game. This game suffered serious meltdown style glitches on three seperate occasions while I was playing. All three times resulting in my losing significant game data. Once the game completely froze up for no reason. Two other times the game didn't actually freeze, but all of the characters within a small area would become stuck in their places and I would not be able to leave the area. Both times this happened I thought I just didn't know what to do. Eventually I would shut the game off and replay everything that hadn't saved. When I returned to the portion of the game that had messed up it would play normal this time and I could proceed. That was frustrating to type just now, think about playing it. Bottom Line: This game is a bargain bin type buy and its decent to play as long as its working.
