Alexa Ray Corriea's Top 5 Games of 2015

Glad to see you taste has expanded beyond the JRPG Genre. I say for me this year so far Ori and the Blind Forest, Witcher 3, Black Ops 2, Wow WOD, LoL this Season were the most impactful games I played.

Does anyone care? I mean this is a terrible list by any stretch of the imagination, and not because she's a girl, but because these games are bad.

Also, any list that does not include Bloodborne (the game of the year by a county mile, but too niche and creative to win the actual "goty", which I am completely fine with, because not winning the goty actually means that you do win the goty), is null and void.

I would be disappointed if everyone picked the same 5 games as their favorites...so kudos ;)

AC:S is my most disliked AC.

The combat was cartoony and too fast, there are limited weapons (fists, sword canes, kukri), combat animations were repetitive, and I think they took out things from the last two ACs that made it good, namely ship combat in black flag, and realistic animations, gear, and multilayer heists in Unity. That being said, I really hope the flaws in AC:S aren't perpetuated in the next game.

I'm interested in Everybody Goes to the Rapture now, although sad games make me...sad haha.

Tales from the Borderlands is so hilarious. I beg my friends to play it, but they are so consumed by other games. Much more enjoyable than mgs 5 or fallout 4 in its brief stint.

Just want to say thank you for mentioning Tales from the Borderlands. Its my first TTG game (games game??) and I picked it up on steam yesterday because I saw it in this video. Amazing game, finished it last night, been listening to the intro songs non-stop. :)

Great list. I love it when these kinds of lists are so varied. I have to agree that Rapture's soundtrack is probably my favorite this year. Absolutely beautiful.

Several of these are on my "must play" but I'm particularly interested in #4 now. I'll have to see what that was about.

The video player is totally broke for me, cant see s*** in gamespot.

I felt myself lightly tearing up a little, when you started talking about no. 3 and no. 2. Don't know what else to write. Yeah, I view you in a completely different 'light' now.

What na horrible top 5. Most of these games dont even have proper gameplay... this is why woman shouldnt vote (kidding)

Thank you for brining a refreshing alternative top 5!! Most (but not all) of the other editors top 5 were just too similar, directed for a very certain type of gamer that I am not. I really gel with your list and was sorry some of these didn't pop up elsewhere in the game-of-the-year series.

Looks like someone's Top Five avoided mainstream like the plague. Well, almost. That's good actually, having The Witcher 3, Rocket League or MGS V in everybody's Top Five would make GS look like a hive mind without individuality.

I don't know if she was consciously avoiding AAA games for her list, but I've not played a single one of these. I might have to check out Everybody's Gone to the Rapture though-- I like those kind of games.

At least she didn't pick Her Story which I'm seeing on many lists. Possibly my biggest purchase regret of the year next to MGS5.

Alexa, you really should play Undertale if you haven't. You mentioned you like story and characters wrapped in intriguing mechanics. Well, it's basically exactly what you're looking for.

Funny how Danny's list featured games with either cool gameplay mechanics or games that immerse you in a new world, whereas Alexa seem to enjoy more grounded games that she can identify with on a personal level. Might explain why I usually disagree with Alexa's reviews.

Loaderbot is the best new character!

I liked watching this more than most gamespot videos.
