okok i gotta say thx for fixin the contrast and brightness to matching levels and aside from a slight ambient occlusion extra is all i saw with the pc but to be fair this game is awesome on w-e you play it with cuz its indoors and claustrophobic style makes it eayer to render i liked that easy to get the frames nice one g-spot

Sorry... looks the same thing on all of em. And... I've seen better graphics than Isolation, better animations and facial expressions and all so, I'm not worried anyway.

Ported from a console onto a PC, can't make something be there that wasn't there in the first place.

As for the game it's super hard, scary too, that feeling of being chased isn't pleasant.

I choose ...the set-up that; plays 'above' 1080p, above 75fps, works in Passive Stereo 3D, works with the Oculus Rift DK2, isn't locked to one basic controller, isn't locked to one generation of hardware, can be adjusted to your playing needs (FOV, Keymaps, Mods, etc) and costs (as a product) less than half compared to the spinning plastic (landfill) version []^__^]

The PC version isn't very demanding, I have an i5 and AMD 7850 and can run it at a steady 60fps with everything maxed apart from shadows.

Why do we never see the specs of the PC on the comparison shots that gamespot do all the time ?

Don't see a noticeable difference. Controller preference it is.

Can't we all be happy that the gaming experience (regarding graphics, at least) is becoming more even in all platforms, and that is good thing? Now people can play on any platform, without worry about getting a subpar graphic. I think this is a improvement for all the gaming community.

You should stop spreading trash. You don't need to upgrade your pc that often. It can be done every couple of years.

This is better than the PS4. Slightly less RAM but better GPU and CPU, which make a bigger difference than RAM.

In other words, if you want PS4/Xbox One level graphics you buy a 2 year old graphics card. If you want 4k resolution and graphics far beyond consoles, you buy the graphics card of tomorrow.

I see no difference... this game is not pushing PS4. Uncharted 4 will look 10x better.

Seriously though, PC currently has more revenue from games than all consoles combined (last gen and this gen), it's the leading platform. Only GTA V has had the long delay, but then again it's getting the next gen version so that's understandable.

If you built a PC now that could play games at the same settings as both consoles (gamespot showed in a recent article $500 PC's do slightly better than the X1 and PS4) then you can run these games on the same settings as console for their entire life cycle.

The great thing about PC's is you have a choice, if you're happy with console quality graphics then don't upgrade, just enjoy the pleasures of free online play and cheaper games. But if you do want to stay cutting edge (or somewhere in the middle) you have that choice as well.

It's PC, you do whatever you like.

All version looks awesome. The only difference you can tell about the P.C ver. is the smoothest frame rate, But i will play it on my PS4 because im a lazy piece of s$%#@

Nothing like bottlenecking the PC version. There's a reason some graphics cards cost more than next-gen consoles.

I really can't wait for The Witcher 3 that game is going to raise the bar for standards, at least for open world games, possibly across the board as well. AC: Unity also has the potential to be very impressive (graphically), as long as there aren't any downgrades from Ubisoft.

Small lighting differences, in reality they are completely negligible. Is it the GameSpot video quality or does this game just not look that good?

You are forgetting the biggest PC assets and those are higher resolutions and higher frame rates.

Game looks good on all platforms. Play it one the you own or the one you enjoy te best. I join the my X1 over my PS4 and therefore I will be playing it on X1.
