i believe this is a new step that treyarch is doing besides sticking with the same gameplay basics like infinity ward almost did with Modern Warfare 3 which is btw a very GREAT GAME but we all should not get angry because of activision not sticking to the old school anymore and moving on to the new school, we all should be happy that they are STILL making a call of duty games year after year and still making single player & multiplayer even better than the previous call of duty's and this goes for RESIDENT EVIL 6 fans who is angry to the fact that the franchise is evolving more then before...
Naaw... no thanks. They have COMPLICATED the COD series with this piece of crap. Tactical shooter ??? hmm.. we already have Ghost Recon. Won't be getting this one.
Yes. Finally, COD has new elements but it will keep its core shooting gameplay. I've been waiting for something new since 4, and I'm surprised to hear so many people complaining.
Hmm... is there any reason; any reason at all this game reminded me... and even my friends... WAY too much in the design of Halo 3: ODST? Especially with that city level they were showing yesterday. o.O
I'm really proud of Treyarch because they are trying to move COD forward as a franchise, because we know everyone is sick of the same COD, and then Activision comes along every other year and screws them over with the same game. Then everyone gets angry when Treyarch makes a new game, instead continuing with the arcadey style.
I'm with MagicJonsson... are they trying to bring in a RTS-type playstyle to this? or are they going for a ghost-recon type thing or what... I'm also confused.
STOP BAD MOUTHING THIS GAME AND TREYARCH ATLEAST THEY ARE TRYING TO CREATE SOMETHING NEW UNLIKE THE LAST COD (MW3). This game so far looks really impressive.
@asswipe12 I wouldn't say its impressive. I do like how their trying something new but impressive? Its not like they built a new engine. This guy says him self "its still Call of Duty".
Call of Duty is the best example of how shitty today's industry has become. They've taken this innovative and interesting series and "capitalized" upon it... Until it's only a shadow of the innovation and originality it used to be. Screw you Activision, from the bottom of my heart.
just not impressed with this. futuristic robot stuff doesn't interest me at all. i wouldn't buy this for hte campaign neways so I'll withhold total judgement until i hear more about the MP aspect.
Those AI looks pretty stupid running into drones and getting mowed down. But I can see that still no destructible environments. BF3 did those cheap shipping containers too that are indestructible. Not impressed although good try at tactical COD but u are not getting my money.
by the way, if you could play it the way you want. lets say i just want the old school run and gun... how do i kill the mech with my gun that doesn't work on it? THINK ABOUT THAT idiot!!!
Looks cool, i like the tight combat zones and use of sandbox. There is nothing worse than a single player campaign where you simply have to 'follow' an A.I. comrade without any room to do your own thing.
There does seem to be massive firepower for such small spaces - could be feisty!!
Not the slightest impressed, even from the first couple of minutes. Appears to be more of a "COD BLOPS: Ghost Recon" than anything else. Seriously, you're telling your team what to do? Multiple points of view.
At least the action and gunplay appears to be the same boring COD style, with shitty outdated AI to boot.
other than the aspect of shooting, this doesn't seem like Call of Duty. This one actually does look REALLY cool. I know that people are hating on this game frachise, but they know what sells and what people want and that's why it sells so much every year. IF you don't like this game, or frachise, why are you watching this video?
yadi yada yada.......same thing over and over again........last good cod=MW2......from there no graphics improv same short campaign same arcade style multiplayer............meh wateva...*i reallly expected better from treyarch as coz of competition from BAF3 expansion packs and MOH:WF......but yaaaawn*
I find their vision of future weaponary poor, for example there is a reason why we don't have mechanical quadrapeds and that is because wheels are more deverse on the battlefield and apparently quicker. Also, if you blast off one leg on that thing, it aint gonna walk, blow out a tyre and at least you can carry on rolling...
not to sound "anti COD" here but i think i agree with @StaticPenguin the whole idea of swicthing between individual squad members and vehicles was borrowed from BF2(cos i remember the whole swap idea in BF2), and the tactital placement of squadees(as i like to call them ;D) that they got from ghost recon games, but at the end of it all i think its cool to see COD finally getting a lil bit of change and features, although i hope we dont get the usually 6 hours long(one afternoon) campaign mode>>>all said i think i'll get it!! :D
