Firebase Z comes out on February 4 and is Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's new Zombies map. It continues the Dark Aether story from Die Maschine and takes place in Vietnam. Players can expect to find new secrets on this map, including a Wonder Weapon. Firebase Z also brings back the Tombstone Soda Perk which allows players to become shadows when downed, so they can enter the Dark Aether and find ways to revive themselves. Players that die in shadow form are out for good though, so be careful. Zombies are also becoming more dangerous with The Mimic, which disguises itself as mundane objects before ambushing players. To make matters worse they can disguise themselves as high-level items and equipment.
In this video, we're going to try and survive and explore the first few rounds of Firebase Z while testing some of the latest Cold War weapons, including the new streetsweeper shotgun and the RAI-K84, which is built from AK-74 parts. We're also going to see how the new Assault Rounds work.
