MAV charge shot doesn't need to lock on to destroy equipment, just point and shoot if you dont want to wait. it does not work on mines or C4, but all other equipment, including health and ammo packs.
Kinda silly that all the scopes looked exactly the same. It's little details like this (along with the constant patching to fix glitches) that caused me to walk away from BF3.
great video very usually, i've been playing BF3 for 760hrs and i dont even have one service star with my recon class so this would help me with it thank u guys
In a 4 guys team one could be a recon with the soflam, two engeneers with javellins and a support could supply infinite rockets, doen't sound so bad to a support like this.
@ilantis It's a sound idea but co-ordinating everyone and getting everyone to move together is a pain in the ass. Then you have no medic to revive anyone who goes down.
@seanmcloughlin @ilantis Assault class is still pretty damn useful. On Rush, there's always a need. On conquest, taking an objective not heavily engaged by armor, assault class will tend to still win most infantry engagements with superior fire power. If you're still worried about being able to combat armor, there should be plenty of engineer kits lying around on the ground when you've done your work.
@ilantis Maybe that would work. When tried with just one support and one engineer, in Tank Superiority we found that most enemy armor was using IR smoke on all vehicles. We played a twenty minute match and I got zero kills with javelin despite Aaron setting me up with an endless supply.
@tframp420 We did change the scope on the rocks. We tried 12x, 8x, 7x, and 6x in both positions and could see no major change in scope glint. Sorry if that wasn't obvious in the video.
@tframp420 Yeah, to keep the video short (already 15min as is) we didn't include all of the comparison for the guy on the rock, but we did do all of the testing. Good eye!
Well I for one found this video useful and will use these tactics when I stop playing BL2 and download Armored Kill, that might not be for a while though...
All of this info is based purely on console versions. Did you guys find any difference playing on PC with possibly higher draw distances or higher textures and what not?
