Dark and Darker is a hardcore, first-person, fantasy-based, dungeon crawler extraction game, where players take on ruthless monsters, navigate devious traps, and uncover secrets containing untold treasures.
Play solo or with friends in duos or trios, and take on the nightmares that await you, but beware, for you are not alone in the dungeons... You may need to take down other adventurers who stand in your way. Defeat them in combat and take their hard-earned treasures for yourself - or form uneasy alliances to increase your odds of surviving against the array of fearsome beasts, gruesome undead, and vile demons that lurk in the darkness.
Should you survive, you will grow in strength, stockpile wealth, and build an arsenal of equipment to bolster your future endeavors. Complete quests and improve your standing with the merchants within the world of Dark and Darker to gain access to better wares and to unlock the ability to craft items that draw from the powers of the foes you've slain, using the reagents you’ve discovered to help you with your next adventure.
