please don't have women reviewers. all they do is say "like, like... like"

Ive been checking and anticipating this game since its announcement a while back, but I can imagine a turn based RPG game where people dont want to listen to you can be really annoying

Why can't this get a console release? It looks awesome.

I've never done an early access before. If I get the EA do I still have to pay full price when the finished game comes out or is there a discounted rate?

This game looks interesting and the kind of game that I'd really like.

Will this ever come out to console?

Those of you looking out for your money's worth here might want to know that Red Hook appears to work through weekends too, mainly to iron out bugs.

However, I will say here that I have the impression that their skill does not exactly match their dedication; every update thus far introduces additional problems as they solve earlier problems.

Picked it up last night so far enjoying it qutie a bit, but I can see the RNG side of it will start to annoy the hell out of me after a bit.

Still seems worth it for the price of early access :)

I just wanted to add the fact that although it's "officially out on Steam", it's still in Early Access. So the game is technically incomplete at this stage. It's not at full release yet.

Also, Giant Bomb's Quick Look is a much more in-depth look at this game.

Your party had pretty high stress levels before going into the dungeon. I assume you didn't have other characters available for your party Alexa? That said, it was interesting to see what the characters do when they get fully stressed out. the Giant Bomb Quick look doesn't show that aspect.

Very occasionally, one of your characters will have a positive response during a resolve check. It's really cool.

I had three party members killed in rapid succession during a boss fight, and the last guy, a Bounty Hunter, had a resolve test and responded by becoming focussed. He killed the boss, then was killed by the henchmen. Still counted as a successful mission, though. :D

please gamespot don't let women review the RPG games this was the worst and most painful review Ive ever seen, so painful, I could not sit through the entire video, the reviewers are talking about outfits and eyes and teeth , don't trust this guy , don't know what hes supposed to do..and so much superficial crap and ignoring factual relevant data on the game and playability , stats, levels etc... it was like E entertainment reviewing a game.. worthless

not to mention both being illiterate using the word LIKE about 300 times.

Were the regular game reviewers at a convention and LIKE you had to find these girls at the local community college ?

But seriously, get some quality reviewers,, they were so bad it reflects badly on the game and your site, people forget about the game in first 30 seconds of the review because they ramble on about useless stuff and sound like high school cheerleaders!

just downloaded this, about an hour in. enjoying it so far

29 Weeks in before the cemetery at the RNGeezus Hates My Soul Estate received it's first permanent resident.

R.I.P Busnois the Veteran Plague Doctor, killed by 3 consecutive critical hits from 2 normal and 1 Giant Ectoplasm all on 1hp after they dodged 5 hits in a row.

Busnois the Paranoid is preceded by his son Busnois II the Selfish, may he not **** up as spectacularly as his father. :(

Already saw a friend playing this. Like every roguelike game, there's some luck involved. But, oh, boy, arent the battles tense...

I don't know whether a bug happened at 18:55 or not. When the player aborts a mission, the player should receive any surviving members; they appear to be lost in this video. Perhaps it's the chance-based thingy Red Hook said during its chat-casts, but if that's so, man, that's one too many RNGs in the game.

The Plague Doctor is female by the way. Many people can't see that, and Red Hook is too amused to bother making that more obvious.
