DC, the home of iconic characters such as Batman and Superman Booster Gold, is launching a streaming service--DC Universe--that will offer access to both live-action and animated shows. Seeing the success of Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, among other platforms, everyone and their sidekick is now launching a streaming service, but is DC's worth checking out?
At San Diego Comic-Con 2018 we got to check out a demo of the service and get some more details about it. In the video above Mat and Chris talk about everything they've learned and their experience of it so far.
We know that among the things you'll get access to through DC Universe is Titans. The first trailer for that show was among the big reveals on the first day of SDCC; DC Universe won't bank entirely on its quality, but if that turns out strong, it would be a major boon for the service as it tries to get off the ground.
DC has confirmed that there will be an annual subscription to the service that'll cost $74.99, with monthly subscriptions available for $7.99. The annual subscription is available to pre-order from DCUniverse.com right now, and you'll get a bonus of three free months for doing so. You could also sign up at the DC Booth at this past weekend's San Diego Comic-Con.
