can anyone explain it to me. So the story will be the same if ou play co-op and single palyer? Or does co-op have diffrenent missions. (like portal 2. you have solo single and diffrent co-op)
The game needs a coop to be honest, been tired to fight alone as Clarke. I'm hooked on the horror sci fi like anyone else, but it's getting a bit boring seeing him fighting an army of Necros and being the only survivor. The game also needs a bit more character interaction and Visceral have improved since the 1st, even though it was the scariest its gameplay has improved a lot.
Like many have stated, it would probably be wise to finish the game solo then go for coop, it may offer intriguing story and perspective from another character, why not? Tbh, who wouldn't want to share this experience with their friends, I know I would. :)
It's not about if COOP will ruin the game or not, it's about if they can do it right, and I have faith in them that they will, if not, I'm not buying another product, simple as that.
As for the horror SP/Co-op debate, the reality is that, once you know what's coming around that corner, it isn't scary anymore. Get killed three times entering a particular room and that same room becomes more of a problem to be solved than an "ooooh, I'm so scared to go in there!" So, in a way, the co-op option creates more of an opportunity for scares than taking them away. Play through the single player campaign once and you know what's coming, but then you have the opportunity to pick up a partner and play through the campaign again where additional dialogue, scenes, and interactions mean you don't really know what's around that next corner anymore. As G.I. Joe says, not knowing is half the scare... or something.
Well put, so many haters saying co-op will ruin the series - gimmie a break. Play SP, enjoy going through for the frist time, then play co-op and see what differances there are.
Besides the fact that there going to far with the action, I have a good feeling that its still gonna kick ass. There pulling a Splinter cell 5 and changing up to much but from what iv'e seen in this trailer the game will still be a blast. The new necromorfths look much more scary then before to.
well this trailer just made me rethink about this title. The best part about this game is how they balanced the action and the horror together and done it very very well. This looks like more of a GEARS of War kind of horror..... not what i want.
''No space for fear'' That pretty much sums up the franchise's butchering into an action game in my opinion and now this tacked on Kinect crap? Seems another franchise is set to die next year...
