People and their lust for free these days...


I'm stoked for GTA downloads. I have a life with a ton of things going on so I don't have a ton of time for a lot of new games. DLC just let's me play more of the games I already love.

I really like this new format the show has taken in the latest episodes, with the discussions between them in the sofa and so on. Keep them coming!

And Blood Dragon has to be one of the best DLCs ever.

I pay for DLCs if they add significant content. If it's just additional armor or guns it should be available for free.

I mean, Blood Dragon was a separate game, not really DLC right? I hate when costumes and skins are DLC, that stuff used to be in games as extras. Nintendo showed how that stuff should be with Bayonetta 2, other publishers would have made us pay for those outfits.

@Martyr77: they rarely use the term "expansion" nowadays anyway, because most of the additional content/"expansion" is gained by downloading, unlike back then when people still use a lot of CD/DVD

@skyke101@Martyr77: it's got little to do with the delievery package and a lot to do with the concept. An expansion was practically a new game, using the assets (maps, mechanics, game engine, etc) of the original.
DLC are add-ons to the original game. Nowdays, publishers sell "expansions" as new games - like Assassins Creed, yearly releasing expansions to AC2 - same engine, same mechanics, same assets, year after year.
DLC's,even when they have story content, most often they are part of the main story, and are never even half the size of the original.
