Dota 2 Diaries - Part 4: Humans Vs. Unfairness

actually Force Staff is really good on Blood Seeker and very popular , it's a sure kill on supports or any hero with low hit points , and a much needed escape mechanism for Blood Seeker . if you get a decent farm you should be able to get it under 15 minutes ( + power treads and other early game items ) . later on you can get your other core items with the gold from kills ...

A quick observation from the 2nd game, since the first was kind of a wash...those unfair bots are mean.

- Sniper shouldn't be auto-attacking or using his volley early in the game to push the lane. You want the creep wave to stay closer to the middle to cut down on your opponent's ganking opportunities and to put you in a better position if your team ganks (example: when Blood Seeker had invisibility, and couldn't position himself behind Razor since the lane was pushed too far forward). Double carry lanes are messy :-/

- A Bloodseeker using a Force Staff (an item you buy in the shop) is just plain bad. You shouldn't have to make an item to force your ultimate to do damage. (no pun intended) For those of you that don't know, Rupture (Blood Seeker's ult) causes the targeted hero to bleed out, dealing damage based on distance they travel while under the effect. Thus, if you stand still, you will not take any damage. The force staff lets you push a targeted hero, thus forcing the rupture damage upon them. Long story short, don't do it.

Anyhow, nice work with the new video. It will be awesome once valve finishes up the game and the mentor program is created, but this is a solid place to start for people wondering what's up with this game.

Is Ed going to be playing with fans in the future?

Zorine, in part 5, could you teach Ed to play other heroes and roles than just Drow Ranger? This isn't LoL where you pick what you please. Instead you gotta pick what your team needs.

P.S. Also teach Ed shift-queueing so he can play Sand King :)

I just got into the game thanks to this series so thanks guys! On a side note, Zorine, you bought Boots of Speed at the base and sent a courier to bring them to you at bot lane... you could've just bought them at the Side Shop that's right next to you and you'd get them faster and not take up the courier =) You probably know that but thought I'd mention it.
