E3 2014: Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric Gameplay

I want to rub it in on what Danny said in the stage demo for this game: this Sonic game is not made for you older farts. :P

so glad it's a Wii U exclusive. Sega, please bring to us PC/Xbox/PS owners a really fast sonic game and make it cool like you did with Sonic Adventure.

and none of that fighting stuff in this game, nor similar to Mario galaxy gameplay in Lost world... or not even fighting like in Unleashed, just run and dash.

For all the ADHD sonic fans there is still going to be speed courses in this game. I actually like the fighting parts.

I used to love sonic games, but this is not the Sonic game i remeber - fast paced, one hit kill etc etc..

I've already accepted the terrible fate of never having my child hood return in the form of a Sega game long ago.

Hopefully Sega will have better ideas when it comes to the next ps4's sonic game

You know, Sega needs to learn that just because they are using anthropomorphic mascots DOESN'T mean that they have to make a half-baked kiddy game... just look at Ratchet and Clank or Little Big Planet. A game can have characters that are marketable to children (Sega is looking for that toy isle and cartoon money) and still be a good game/story.

I am a huge Sonic fan but jeez this looks awful. Plus what the hell is up with Amy shouting "Nice Kill Sonic", that is just pure horrible dialogue.

There was no Amy Rose gameplay in that video.
