It's just so funny to watch the Xbots comments now after the Xbone's game failure. And the crush in sales they will get today with the release of the PS4 worldwide, sure!! ^_^

Great episode that brings up probably the most pertinent issue regarding these "console wars" with the whole blind loyalty and attacking anything that isn't your preference. Keep it up, Johnny, whether all this falls on deaf ears or not!

How can can Gamespot claim that they are impartial to a brand when their site is flooded with green xbox advertises.

As usual Johnny you make some really excellent points. i believe the problem is you are trying to apply logic and reason to a group of individuals who aren't interested in either concept. Isn't it largely irrelevant with all the things going in the world today which console is superior? Purchase what you want and enjoy it and ignore the rest.

Fanboys do amuse me, Fanboyism is just a symptom of a disease called "I can't afford both consoles" disease. Do some overtime or something. Buy both consoles and cure your silliness.

Good point regarding games getting better further down the line for both consoles. It's a new piece of kit and developers haven't had much time to either program on it or see what they can actually do with the new hardware.

Launch titles don't really push the boundaries as nobody knows what they are with as yet unreleased console. The example between COD 3 and Last of Us near the end is a great example of this and it's true you get the best from a console near the end of it's life.

Also it isn't really worth buying a console straight off the bat. I waited for about 18 months before i got a PS3 as i was still happily working through a load of PS2 games.

By the time i bought it, it was cheaper despite having a larger HD than the release version and it come with 3 games. Plus i had 18 months worth of games to look through and buy dirt cheap, either second hand or brand new. I imagine it was the same with Xbox 360 18 months after it was released.

Think people just need to chill out about launch titles and consoles, and probably stop getting their pants in a twist about something that, in the grand scheme of things, doesn't really matter.

Sorry to say but both consoles have horrible launch titles.... Honestly i don't see any reason to buy new console at launch, like every launch every consoles have problems, or most people forgot the launch from xbox 360 lol, worst lanch ever lol.

Indeed. Sadly, to these people (the kids in middle/highschool, the average man-child, people with no life, and people with just a genuine shitty disposition on life) yes- it DOES make sense.

I wish people actually understood what Johnny was conveying each week, instead of just trying to see if their comment made it on FeedBackula or to hear a "I barely knew her" joke. He's TRYING to make gamers (mostly console gamers, but some PC'ers, too) more open and AWARE of how we treat each other. But, it doesn't matter... It really saddens me.

Some of you guys are like little condom failures that you have to let touch the stove one too many times, because you just can't reason it out for yourself. Continue to whine on.

Johnny, was the graphic video footage of animals being badly injured necessary? There wasn't even a warning. The horse crossing the road was brutal. For a guy always taking the moral high ground, you didn't put much thought into this, did you?

This is untrue. *(Unless he is talking about the actual hardware architecture itself and not the performance differences) The PS3 and 360 were much closer in performance and hardware than the Xbone and PS4 are today.

In other words, the difference in power the PS4 has over the Xbone is much great than the difference between the PS3/360 performance.

Whether or not we see this evident in future games is still unknown.
