@lodoss900: If you were mainly using GFs, then you played this game all wrong. Squall alone can do multiple times the damage of GFs in half of time. Nevertheless, the junction system is quite broken (but I love it).

@lodoss900: You can't depend on that strat the entire game. Eventually the GF's become relatively underpowered and you have to use them more strategically and to shield high damage enemies.

I thought it was one of the best systems in FF ever. But I understand people either love or hate it.

@lostn: FF8 was released to pc years ago, already you can get it from steam, it was using pc rendering for high res textures etc. but the music was not the same as ps1 (ps1 ff8 music was much better in tones and quality). There is so much they can do for a game that is 20 years old unless they remake from scratch like FF7. I don't understand why square labeled this game a remaster, they both look the same ;)
