The final season of Game of Thrones is quickly coming to an end, and major plot lines are getting wrapped up all over the place. Episode 3 saw the culmination of the battle with the Night King, while Episode 4 reignited the Last War for the Iron Throne. But even though there are only two episodes left, there are a lot of story threads that remain.
Before the start of the season, we dug through the entire run of the show to make a list of unanswered questions that remain unanswered--from prophecies that remain unfulfilled, to items from the lore of the novels on which Game of Thrones is based that have yet to be fully realized. There are things like the question of Azor Ahai and the Valonqar prophecy that could still play a role in the end of the show.
Watch the video above for 12 burning questions we hope to get answered in Season 8. For some, the time has come and gone, but with two episodes remaining, it's still possible we'll learn a few more key things before all is said and done in Westeros.
