Fans eagerly anticipating what's next in Game of Thrones are in luck. With the series drawing to a close later this month, HBO has released an Episode 5 preview trailer--this being the penultimate episode of both Season 8 and the show overall. You can watch it above.
Game of Thrones Season 8 primarily consists of longer-than-usual episodes, and that's true of both Episodes 5 and 6. These final two episodes of Season 8 will be 80 minutes in length. Episode 5 air this coming Sunday, May 12, with Episode 6 closing things out on May 19.
As is often the case with these teaser trailers, this one doesn't confirm a lot whole in terms of what will happen, although we do see that Tyrion made it out safely. There's also a moment where Euron looks to the sky that has seemingly prompted people to wonder if there are more dragons, though that seems pretty unlikely.
Episode 4 largely dealt with the fallout of Episode 3's massive battle, but another one is on the horizon. Dany and Jon are moving south to reclaim the Iron Throne from Cersei, who has been scheming off-screen for some time now, as Rhaegal can attest. We're not sure how things are going to play out from here, but it is looking more and more likely that we will finally get Cleganebowl.
