this game looks extremly awesome i would want to buy this game just for the fact it has the black suit spiderman and symbiote wolverine it looks alot better then any spidy based movie games there ever was
huge spiderman fan boy and i got to say that this reminds me of the first sipderman game for ps1 WHICH I LOVED because of venom and the symbioytes and this seems like its taking the same direction and now im excited as a kid on pcp rdy to fight a baby
This game's city looks too much like Spiderman 2 and 3, I unno. The city once again looks dead, can we get a GTA style looking/feeling/acting NY for once in a Spidey game? I'm coping, with cautious skepticism though.
On Seize Controls forum in responce to a posters query the Admin asked a Shaba games developer how the Wii version was coming along he responded that when he saw it he couldn't tell the difference between the Wii. 360 and PS3 versions til he looked closer. The most important thing for the Wii version is that it feels right and has alot of replay value with random crimes and leisurely web swinging round Manhatten.
Have we seen any Wii footage yet? Since SM3 I live in fear that all superhero games on wii are destined not only to be rubbish, but graphically inferior as we are given pitiful ps2 ports rather than games built around Wii specific engines. Web swinging could have been wonderful, and so is the potential for slashing at enemies with adamantium claws with Wii+chuck combo. Not that I am adverse to using buttons to make things happen in games, we're none of us above that yet but I would like something more than a clumsy beat 'em up vieled by some notion of free-roaming in a poorly constructed virtual city. That said, the vids on show look amazing, and if this game comes to Wii and is done well, however it is done, it is looking like the game I would want to make given the chance. Throw in a few more secret playable characters and we're laughing! Come on Activision, pull another SM2 out of the bag!
