damn i gotta stop watchin trailers, they really spoil to many things like boss fights, set pieces, etc.

but hasn't kratos killed like 98% of the olimpus already? who is he gonna fight now? chuck norris?

i mean really, the character Kratos looks like a walking bald-headed marshmellow with red swirls around his body.

Why isn't anyone asking the real good questions like: Why is the Achilles skin and other champions skins only available for the multiplayer mode and not single player main campaign mode? To be honest Kratos is cool but playing as Achilles or Perseus would be so much better than that bald headed clown white greece-ghetto painted Kratos. Playing as Achilles through main campaign mode would be sooooooooooooooooooooooo much more AWESOME!

i pre orded this baby as soon as i heard they are making another.. i LOVE these God of War games because Kratos is awesome. not only that i pre ordered the mythology edition too because i LOVE learning about mythology... Kratos, i give you TONS of respect, my awesome man. And... the guys who are making this are amazing then ever... i give you guys TONS of respect...

It's just another usual God of war,but so beautiful as always. CONGRATS I will of course play it . It deserves to be played,its a GREAT game,GREAT script,MYTHOLOGY that is excuted inspiringly ,And a CRATOS at its best once again. SIMPLY EXCELLENT !

@ @y2gambino I don't see GOW4 improving much control wise interms of characters fighting mechanics and movemnt fluidity by what is shown so far in all the demos and tailers of the new gameplay. There may have been a 15% improvement fighting mechanics wise but still i feel it may fall short compared to Darksiders 2 character Death fighting mechanics and character movement fluidity.

The God of War series has been a staple in the adventure/combat gaming history but there is one game that suprpasses it story wise, more stages and levels, and totally surpasses God of War's fighting mechanics and characters abilities wise. That game is DARKSIDERS 2. The fighting mechanics of Darksiders 2 is smoother, more responsive and has a button accuracy that is unmatched by games of this category. The special magic abilities in Darksiders 2 are so numerous they make Kratos' magic ablities look limited and boring. The ability to use two two weapons in mid combo and magic is amazing and brings the combat gameplay to a much higher level. After playing Darksiders 2 and switching to GOW3 you will realize how stiff and limited the movements such a evading, jumping, climbing, traversals and atacks are with Kratos compared to Death. Given the sad program quality, freezes and data corruption of the Darksiders 2 DLC Abyssal Forge and The Demon Lord Belial content the main game campaign is just perfectly designed and beautiful. I challenge you to rent Darksiders 2 and play through the main campaign and then respond with your evaluation.

GOW as usually always has flashy moves and over the top fight sequences that shake the foundation of Hollywood .but unlike other hack and slash games coming out this year (revengence), god of war shows a game goes beyond flashy moves,but a game must good story and dept with characters performances that draws you into the world.

God of war is just one of those games that could come out be crappy as hell and people would still be drooling over it.. The god of war series is by far the best series in game history.. There isn't a game on the market that compares to it. Many have tried and many have failed. Everytime you think the game is over it comes back everytime you think the game won't release another they come back and surprise the hell out of you. I'm sure i'm not the only one that has played these since the beginning and have played the game over and over again and the game will just never get old or boring.. God of War III was insane I must of beat that game 50 plus times and I still go back and play some more. There are many few games in the console world that take advantage of all the graphics and the visual of the console world. Think back to PS2 and GOD2 and tell me you wouldn't think that PS2 had the visual and the graphics to have such a great game like this you just didn't. Then GOD3 comes out and HOLY Sh!T nothing else left to say about it. Hands down to the makers of this game and all the others. I for one cannot wait to get this. What else can you say nothing really just enjoy the video now because in a month's time were all gonna be enjoying the game that much more.. If you enjoy God of War click like because there will never be another game made that you can put on scale vs this game nothing will ever compare..

I got to stop seeing this over an over again its going to cause brain damage or something.I can't wait for the demo to come out so I can get my fix before the game comes out.

what an epic footage seeing this my hands are itching to play this game , OK it only 30 mins but there so much potential and diversity ,some games have dispointed me in the past like raccoon city which was a really incident but this game i have very high hopes, i hope the game comes out good even if i have to fast for 3 days.

You would think this vid would quieten the multi player hater, but still they moan.

Good ol' epic kratos is back and with some new moves too. Already preordered the collecters edition.

hmmm. This is actually nothing special, how can I go from playing a great game like the third GOW to this one. I knew I had a bad feeling when the company started making website "games" and multiple promotions as well as a multiplayer. This game is not going to be what the series once was.
