I'm seeing barely anything new in the trailer, same spells, same character stance, same fighting. What I did see was a new dungeon. I hope they added a lot to the storyline.
i dunno im somewhat skeptical about this expansion, cuz Gothic 3 had a lot of issues and what little is shown in this trailer seems to suggests little has change except for more quests, maybe more spells and loot etc. i think that it'll run poorly on modest systems, have lackluster melee combat and suffer from interface problems and awkward animation. Im just hoping that Gothic 4 will make a decent effort becuz i love rpgs!
@ ArmaGeDDoN_mkd the witcher sort of sucked...... and oblivion got old after a while! but gothic 3, impressed me beyond any game. i could run crysis on very high without problems, yet i still get a little lag on minimum!
I am realy sure they could do better :( Don't know why does it take so long to do a game that feels Slow and Akward. I would love to see a game with this interface, but with the power of move that WOW had without beeing online. It has the potential but the guys working there must be a sleep or they can't see that the final product is Unpolished and has a lot to be improved. (to be nice) (my native language is not english so i make a few mistakes)
I'm a fan of the series so i cant be impartial, but [from what i have seen] the sword fighting is the same and the char. continues to move like a stuffed scarecrow. Except all this i will still buy this because i STILL have faith in JoWood.
still looks laggy.the hero still moves like a woman and swings the sword like one.as for the graphics part HDR is good only for nvidia users ATI users have problems when HDR turned on. *sighs*
I played the demo for G3 and had no real problems and liked it enough to buy. I haven't had the chance to install it yet due to my computer not currently with me..long story. I know however the full version had many problems on release but will still try it when able. I am looking forward to this next expansion as the company states it will be aware of previous short comings and will strive to make this better. I hope so too. Game on!
I played both Gothic 2 and 3 on an A8n32/AMD setup, without any crashes or problems with gameplay. I enjoyed G3 enough to buy an expansion pack for more of the same.
