Outdated moronic marketing is holding it all back. Exclusive titles are holding back the developers and don't make me buy a new console.

Not sure why any developer like Square Enix would agree to that in the first place, by selling across all platforms they would be making more money for sure.

They are denying loyal fanbase to continue the story of Lara Croft in the sequel to the one of the most succsesful re-boots in history on video games. Well done Square Enix. Your greed is bigger than EAs. You just said f*** to all Tomb Raider fans, to PS4, PS3 and PC owners. Well done you !

Wonder how much M$ had to dole out to get this exclusive for 6 or so months? It didin't work for Titanfall or Ryse, hope this inst a painful mistake by Square Enix.

Most Xbox exclusives end up on PC and PS4. Still no reason for me to own Xbox. PC and PlayStation, all of them :D

They sold something like 6.5 million copies of the last Tomb Raider....they moaned about poor sales.

That 6.5 million is spread over 2 os's and 4 consoles...so I don't get why they did it.

I'm annoyed by this TR exclusive. I feel like devs are forgetting where their fan base came from...or right, TR1 launched on PC first!!!! same with GTA franchise. first on PC before being ported to console. i.e. the PS1

This Tomb Raider news has pretty much pee'd me off! I was really looking forward to the game on PC... I have completely lost faith, how they have turned their back on MILLIONS of their fan's.... disgusting! this won't be forgotten! and M$, do people really need a reason to hate you more, and not buy an XBOX ONE. M$ shady practices have been peeing on gamers as far back as I can remember! But enjoy the game xbox one owners, while the console is still in production, I wouldnt trust M$ with any longevity in their products.

the problem is tomb raider games tho are great games they were never really system seller, so i dont understand MS's thinking about getting it exclusive when clearly most people will buy the 360 version rather then go out and get an xb1 as they more likly have a ps4. MS probably paid a lot of money to get this exclusive as well and everyone can foresee that its going to end up shooting them in the foot again like with titanfall. the thing is if sony start to fight back by buying out exclusives over MS, MS will still get the short end of the stick. all sony need to do is buyout something like fallout 4 or some other big franchise and thats it game over.

I was a x360 gamer in the last generation cause I was a student and didn't have the finances to own both consoles at the time so I made a choice and I was pretty satisfied with it. Now I own an xbox one and I own a PS4 because I can afford it and I have a decent gaming PC, lets just get that out of the way so everyone knows where I'm coming from i.e. I'm platform agnostic.

CD selling out to a desperate MS throwing money at any company who might give them and the Xbox One some sense of relevancy while at the same time slapping Tomb Raider fans in the face making a TR game XBO exclusive when TR hasn't ever really been an exclusive to anyone. Obviously CD and Square didn't learn from EA's mistake with Titanfall which had EA crawling back on their knees to Sony apologizing.

I don't get SE, didn't they cry that the last Tomb Raider did not sell enough even though it sold millions? How will the next one sell better if it is exclusivly on the least sold system? I just hope it makes it to the Pc like other xOne exclusives before.

I think this is the most comments on GS News in awhile, yeah people are worked up over Tomb Raider :). I own an Xbox One and 360 but I'm still a bit disappointed with it, mostly on principle. On the practical side I'd still rather play it on PC or PS4.

Regarding Share Play, I had completely forgotten about that promised feature where a friend could remotely take over your game. Anyway Share Play is pretty cool, a way to breathe new life into local co-op, except it's not local co-op, you get the idea :).

Side note, I don't see HoH up, so I'm assuming it's one of those situations where the demise of something (or loss of staff or etc.) is sort of not supposed to be officially acknowledged on site. That sucks.

@Kiyosuyo @djdavidmichaels I was in Junior High school when this game came out AND I played it but I can't say I grew up playing this. I even had it on the Nokia N-Gage (If anyone knows what that even was anymore) but again it just doesn't do it for me anymore. I was always into the games I liked and NOT the games I was supposed to like. Wasn't a MGS or Resident Evil fan either LOL. Just opinions I guess.

time exclusive imo..good game, not enough for me to get a Xbone tho...so don't care if it comes to PC great if not then that's that. 10mil PS4 sold...is Crystal Dynamics really gonna miss out on this? if MS manage to get it as an all time exclusive good grab. :P

I don't really care if it's on xbox. I have the PS4 current version and it is a good game but PS4 will have Uncharted which is more or less the same game and better (without that annoying Brit. accent!).

Economically it makes no sense - at the start the nice robot lady said PS4 had sold 10 million consoles. That's like McDonalds refusing to open restaurants in China (they have).

Naughty Dog is hands down the best console developer and they seem linked at the hip with PS4.

I honestly don't think it'll stay console exclusive. There has already been MUCH more of a stink about this than there was Rayman and you see how that went. It's time for us to stop this stupid console exclusivity nonsense and make ALL games cross platform, except for Wii-U, we don't want to downgrade the gaming experience.

In other news.............. Who the hell cares about the PS4 update either. This was just a serious waste of time clicking this. I could give a rats a$$ about social media/sharing/video crap. How about something useful. Some of us are actually adults and can't be bothering our friends saying "Hey lil' billy I'm stuck on level 4 can you help me???"

The ONLY good bit of news here was Sony's staggering sales numbers. When sales figures excite someone more than the features gained in an update you could call that a pretty WEAK update, NO?
