GS News - Rainbow Gaystation Unveiled; Are PCs “decimating” consoles?

i'm definitely not getting the "gaystation".

not a fan of the rainbow motif, but i like the sprite art heart :P

as for F2P, like most things in this industry, it's a nice idea that got twisted beyond recognition.

Not "coming around" to f2p at this point. 99.999% of the time they're pretty garbage. I might play one here or there but I don't waste money on them. Give me a real game, k thanks...

Jess, I think f2p is great for companies but screws with the subs and lifers, the devs they're loyalty is to the next new player in a turn style you pay you 10, 20 bucks for the latest shiny and then you're outa there and someone else comes along and takes your place, but the down side is anyone that has a lifetime membership or sub you're more of a burden to the devs than help you don't pay money into the game side 10 bucks a month if you’re a sub but the game devs are only care about keeping that turn style moving' and they'll shaft lifers and subs for that extra few bucks from the new guys, this has happened take a look at STAR TREK ONLINE those guys screw us lifers and subs so it’s not without president.

The rainbow PS4 actually looks pretty cool.

I'm happy to say that the Destiny beta exceeded my expectations, the only thing that worries me is that the classes seemed too similar.

Free to play implies microtransactions. I hate microtransactions.

I still think F2P is only viable for a very small slice of the genre pie. I agree that times are good to own a PC but the last reason would be F2P titles; there are just a lot of good games coming out regardless of pay structure. So +1 for PC love, -1 for citing F2P games as the example, also -1 for not even being relevant to gaming in the last 10-15 years. Sorry, John (what have you been doing since Red Faction?).
