I hate to see Sony go under but they need to cut their losses and sell the rest of the divisions that is holding them back and stay with the console division. It is the only division that is bringing in money. 2.1 billion is a lot of money to lose.

"how can sony pull themselves out of red"? sticking to games, and dropping cellphones, tvs and notebooks. maybe selling it to microsoft? they are quite overpayers :P

@MigGui Notebooks ? yes, the market is oversaturated there with too many options and people ignoring companies like Sony and buying whatever is cheapes. Have I mentioned the oversaturation thing yet ? xD

Cellphones and TV's ? NEVER !!!! their smartphones are very good and high quality and their tv's as well. I have a Sony 4k TV (KD-55X9005B) and I've compared it in the shop(in Cinema mode) with Samsung and LG's 4k TV's and I knew withing 10 minutes that I HAD to have the Sony as it was the better choice ... not to mention the no bullshit (curved , ultra-mega-slim , build/material quality ... etc) aproach to their 2013-2014 TV's.

But yes .. I hope that Sony gets out of this mess as it is a great company.
