C-C-C-C-COMBO!.......RE-Post

Well here we go again I tried to warn people about the first one tried to tell them all those beaming reviews and site promotions were paid for by EA(@chrisbeaumont, @poormallard, yeah you remember me and that lil we are not paid advertising thing right? cause I'm sure they were willing to pay celebs off but not reviewers right? ), that the game would not be long lived and was just a cash grab and here we are. They are wasting time, money and manpower that could be better spent working on helping the next battlefield avoid the mistakes of past entries instead of ripping off the only people keeping them afloat The Consumers.

@gotrekfabian MR.Fabian I hope you are still willing on your end to not support another of these games and I'm sorry for you and others losses regarding the first game please send my condolences to all of your bank accounts and wallets.

Sincerely: Uncle Sa- Ginpachi-Sensei

@Mogan: Little early in life to be going through it plugging your ears and humming loudly to yourself, don't you think?

It's people like you with nothing to add that make things difficult for the rest of us.

I'm tired of having people plug their ears and hum a tune all while insulting others who say anything is wrong with anything and whom always respond "It's not my problem" some federal/state/corporate program/person/business ripping people off? "not my problem" Company cutting corners making things cheaper yet charging more for less "not my problem" well it is your problem you live here right? eat here, drink here, sleep here, raise a family here and live here right? well then what goes on in your country affects you even a game company bribing people. why? you ask because if one can get away with it they all can lets not forget if it's not pointed out as being a problem or anything done about it things like this just go on and on and on and on and can be made to be excluded under law because "nobody has a problem with it". Ex: some of the laws people are just know getting around to finding out "Hey that's not right how did this get past people for so long?" well you have your answer right here in my comment so you figure it out and maybe add something or point out some problems of your own the more involved we are the more chance we have to change things. at least I'm trying in my own way, how bout you?

@gintoki: Less misplaced activism and vague conspiracy theories, more coherence and common sense. The fact that I didn't jump on your bandwagon just because you put a lot of rambling "passion" in your post, does not mean I agree or disagree with what you're saying, just that you aren't saying it in a way that's understandable or relatable.

@Mogan: If you are referring to the post I replied to you with that reads pretty plainly so no luck there. but if it's my first post that's OK. in plain relatable English for the Gentleman/Lady. I tried to warn people the first game was nothing more than a rip-off tried to tell people EA WAS PAYING OFF PEOPLE TO GIVE GOOD REVIEWS (as reported by GameSpot themselves http://www.gamespot.com/articles/they-wanted-to-pay-me-to-promote-piece-of-sht-star/1100-6432521/) and THE GAME WOULD NOT HAVE ANYTHING THAT COULD BE CONSIDERED CONTENT. and here we are not even a year old and they are already moving on.

plain spoken English important points capped for your pleasure.

"Less misplaced activism and vague conspiracy theories"

I have every right to think that someone has been payed off if others were paid to do the same thing. Just because it comes out that half a group promoting a product was paid off to praise it and give glowing reviews would you consider it a vague conspiracy to assume the others were as well?.

As for the misplaced activism thing I'm pretty sure trying to keep people from getting ripped off and wanting to keep companies on the up and up can't be misplaced activism otherwise all these other people trying to keep money in both MINE AND YOUR POCKETS by trying keep things fair, warn people, and hold people and companies responsible would be considered the same. bribes. lies and ripping people off are not acceptable no ifs and or buts about it.

Oh and the drunk posting comment is an insult don't chalk it up to a I don't agree we are both smart enough both know it's BS an insult is an insult and that's OK I have been insulted far worse but don't cover it up as if it's an I don't agree statement that is a far worse insult than a simple "your drunk posting" comment.

Thank you.

@gintoki: You have the right to think whatever you want to think, for any reason you want to think it. That doesn't make your opinions logical or immune to criticism. Another way to look at your post is that you're over reacting to celebrity endorsements and trying to tell other people how to spend their own money.

If we're both smart enough to know I was making fun of you, then give me, and other gamers in general, a little credit and let us make our own decisions. Don't worry about what's in my pocket; let me handle that.

@gintoki: I never said I liked Battlefront. You may be tagging me because I like Star Wars... Battlefront looked good but there was nothing lore-related in it that interested me. I didn't play it for more than 20 minutes. I couldn't really give a damn if they make a sequel, but if they do I hope they decide to make compelling stories and characters.

@josh0shaw: good on you I will have to remove your name but it still stands that the first time around reviews looked sketchy and read like an infomercial not to mention the whole celebs getting payed to give glowing reviews I'm not holding my breath on this one or this site having any integrity.

I would continue to keep my distance from this site as a reviewer if I were you. I do hope you find a gig with a real honest review site or even a magazine and they treat you like gold.

One last thing to mention people can lie and people will get paid for things and not disclose it to either the consumer, investor or the company when they are supposed to it's not uncommon.

@gintoki: sure man, always be skeptical, thats a good way to look at it. The Battlefront review was probably fine, but it just praised things that I don't care about: multiplayer game modes, multiplayer map design, weapon balance, leveling up. No matter how good all that stuff is, that's not what I look for in any game, Star Wars included.

@chrisbeaumont:

chrisbeaumont mentioned you in a comment.

@gintoki: and that's fine, you're of course completely free to disagree with us on the substance, we don't take issue with that in fact it's to be encouraged. But you went in with the conspiratorial nonsense about being paid by EA to say positive things. That stuff isn't true and cheapens your argument.

Oct 14, 9:06am

It's already come out they paid off celebs to give the game a good review go ahead and feign ignorance cause we all know a reviewer whom makes way less would never take money to do the same thing.

you yourselves posted about it

http://www.gamespot.com/articles/they-wanted-to-pay-me-to-promote-piece-of-sht-star/1100-6432521/

The first game ended up being a ripoff but because they got enough money out of it here we are again

The first game was an extremely poor value purchase, people still bought into it and here we are. One crappy, bare-bones package every two years or so to exploit the fanbase...

@robertcain: I imagine the next game will be bigger. I doubt EA wants to risk the folks who weren't satisfied with how large Battlefront was skipping the sequel for the same reason.

@Mogan: It's a pretty optimistic view to take, but knowing that EA has a monopoly on all Star Wars games, it's hard to have faith. They know how much people like the franchise and will not hesitate.

@robertcain: Well, look at Battlefield; those games have, on average, gotten larger and more complex as time goes on, and that's the same developer. They even added a single player to Battlefield ... for some reason.

And EA isn't stupid; I'm sure they noticed that Battlefront reviews were mixed, and that a lot of the feedback has been about the lack of content in the game. Is it really going to save EA that much money to ignore the weaknesses in the first game and rely entirely on no gamer learning their lesson?

The next Battlefront might suck, but I still think it'll be a larger, more fully featured game than last year's.

so they didn't even bother to release a fully featured battlefront game the first time around, yet they are making a sequel? how about releasing some more dlc to fix the problems of the first game? put in a single player campaign and i might gain some interest. if it is online only again, i can guarantee sales will suffer greatly and be at least 20% worse than its precursor.
