Not impressed.

I don't really have anything against how they are making band specific GH games, but it would be a lot more entertaining and it would have a much bigger audience if they were to make genre specific games instead.

dude guitar hero has gone to far they should of stopped at world tour i hate guitar hero now they completly killed the series the games feel the same just different tracks and characters no new look or anthing is evr added

Normally I wouldn't buy this, but since it's a freebie with 5, I think I may. Love Van Halen, but Guitar Hero has been declining.

@BAT-Baal umm, excuse me? dont generalize. i listen to the music "people over 30" listen to. while I do like modern music, I know that Van Halen is amazing. I know talent when I see it and hear it. Just because a lot of music today isn't amazing shred out the @ss doesnt mean that it doesn't sound good. I will only get this if I get GH5. The price is outrageous for so few songs from the artist that the game is named after. @MasterBolt360 Fail. Creed is great. I love them. Just seen them live a bit over a week ago. But no. No guitar hero game from them. They would be easy as crap, dude. Pointless.

@gones26 Too right, it sucks that those great songs are pretty much dying out with generation (im 17 btw), i listen to the likes of AC/DC, Van halen, The Who etc, their great its real music, not the generated junk (as mild as Gamespot will allow) made by a 4 year old on coke music. It takes talent to do what these bands do, and all the other bands today sing it first time and mine the rest, its a waste and we encourage them by buying their stuff.

@BAT-Baal - wtf?! you think that if you're under freakin 30 you don't appreciate Van Halen, or any other good music? There are a generation of kids (myself included) that dies inside when they hear music of their era (as relatively short as it may be), so don't get all high and mighty thinking your generation is the only one to "get" real music. So before you go calling out kids based on their music taste (though i understand your frustration at the general lack of knowledge) think to yourself that you ARE a 30+ year old calling out little kids. The rock gods would be proud that their message got through... oh wait, that wasn't their message. And how do i know? Cause some of us under 30 DO in fact listen to the likes of Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, et al.

Yea...to most of you under 30, your probably not gonna "get" this. Van Halen is one of the top selling classic rock bands of all time. Eddie Van Halen (although a jerk), is maybe the greatest visionary to every play 6 strings. Most of the bands that you all listen to today would bow there heads to Van Halen and have been inspired by them. Not to mention, would sell their souls to have half the record sales and popularity that Van Halen had. This band innovated rock and progressed through years of change and adversity all the while putting out platinum albums. Listen up and you may learn a thing or two about Rock from these guys. The band YOU listen too did.

I would actually be happy to pay 20-30 dollars and only have the 25 halen songs. I can care less for the other songs because I found them totally useless in Aerosmith and Metallica. $60 for half of halen is steep, but thank god for that GH5 deal.

Not enough songs in the game...They need to stop milking the franchise. At least release the game with a decent amount of songs. Only 28 Van Halen songs including Eddies Solos!!! $69.99...I don't think so!

One of these days they'll actually release a game just featuring the title name of the band it's self instead of putting random songs from various artists that have nothing to do with the band. Awesome band, but no more of these please.
