Homefront Multiplayer Trailer

@tisoyboy2 I have to say, despite what you wrote being somewhat obvious, thank you for your real opinion. When I say real, I mean you're seeing games for what they actually are. I could probably be described as a gaming addict, given that I thoroughly enjoy games, but I do see them as the entertainment that they are. It seems like so many people are unable to just see the enjoyment in games and not over-think it one way or the other (love or hate games in particular, or games in general). As for this game, I'll definitely be giving it a playing, but am certainly not deterred by it being a shooter, or resembling other games in any way. If I enjoy it for a longer or shorter period than some others, that's the benefit of trying new games and venturing into both similar and different genres.

@DigitalReign421 You can say the samething about Bad Company 2, you are not achieving it by yourself but having the aid of your squad to complete your objectives. If you want realism, I suggest you play ArmA 2 and Operation Flashpoint : Coldwar Crisis / Red Hammer / Resistance. But then again if you want simplistic controls and "nearly realistic" gameplay i suggest you play online game "Project Reality" which is a realism mod for Battlefield 2. (PC ONLY)

@TonnFool23 Ok fair enough no game is "realistic" but u know what I mean, a game where u cant acomplish everything as a one man army and u actually have to use ur brain

@DigitalReign421 What was so realistic about Dragon Rising and Red River? Nothing, just because it has the name operation flashpoint to it doesn't mean it's realistic. New operation flashpoints are beyond fail and comparison.

There are people on some of those boot legger sites that are currently playing the campaign and say it is really good. So although I agree with the statement about Gamespot being paid to hype up certain games, I don't think this is the case with this game. I really don't care much for comparing games. Personally, I will get this and Crysis 2. 60 bucks for my personal entertainment is chump change. I spend more then that for a one time meal at any of my favorite restaurants. Black Ops is my least favorite on that franchise but I like the wager matches they introduced. I have been blogging for something like that for 3 years. The battle points system for this game is creative and should make the MP interesting and give it an edge over other online shooters. They also put a hit for bonus BP on the player racking up a high kill streak. But the bottom line is, I pay them 60 bucks to entertain me for how ever long the game holds my interest. Then I move on.

@ThAdEa82 I'm not saying dragon rising was great, i did enjoy it but it had A LOT of problems, i just wish there were more original shooters on the market, they all just copy COD, this game included.

I'm looking forward to the single player, mp looks not bad either. Apocalypse Now was amazing & Red Dawn isn't bad, so this BETTER be pretty good as far as story content.

Considering the game isnt out yet and already there are people on xbox live right now playing the multiplayer could microsoft please sort out these idiots and ban their gamertags as it just spoils the fun for everyone else and they shouldnt be able to review a pirated copy of the game either before it hits shops

Looks like COD trash, HOWEVER, Alot of vehicles in this. SOOOOOOOO...... I'm torn. I'm sticking with MAG till at least i get hands on OF:Red River, BF3, or bodycount. TOM CLANCY WHERE ARE YOU WHEN WE NEED A NEW RAINBOW SIX!!!!!!>>>?????

Looks great, but i have always been a battlefield fan so BF3 for me first then this. However this is just MY opinion.

Im gonna pass until red river... we need more realistic shooters instead of this COD crap! flashpoint all the way!!!

@MoodyBandit Amen to that man. I think the only reason anybody even plays Black Ops is because it's the "New thing" and that all their friends play it. Plus, we all know how much we love to brag about prestige and weapons and all that crap. I sold my black ops too, so i understand.

I have to be honest the gameplay looks a little shoddy, but we all knows the singleplayer story is what this game has going for it.

so apparently the best way to explain anything is through explosions. well in that case i just learned a whole lot about this game right??? i still know nothing. just that it looks like another shooter.

@MoodyBandit Amen to that. Black Ops kind of really sucked and I think people really only still play it because they don't want to feel like they've wasted their time getting prestige. In reality they've wasted a massive amount of their time getting prestige.

Why all the fuss about them marketing their game? COD has everyone brainwashed. If you want to be heard ya got ta make sum noise! right? I'm ready for something different. I sold Black Oops after two weeks. MP got boring.

@snow_yellow yeah! real bummer...no trophies!...Oh and the strategy worked, we established presence in the area, put the enemy on the defensive, got to work and look how the dominoes are starting to topple....brilliant!

p.s. this game looks great and the mistake with fuel of war was a lack of marketing not the game. so i will see you in the burgerking! and i'll be runnin you all down tee hee hee!

whoa!?! what's with all the hate? i like call of duty and gears and halo and pretty much any game that shoots and there as many jerks playing battlefield as there is on cod. i think the division has been sold to you guts. no one ever said i have to pick a side. if you game, i'm on your side! bejewled blitz and pacman 30th anniversary edition on XBL are great too! what i don't like is when a big name company like dice or activision or epic by a smaller company and sell me a crappy game, bulletstorm ugh! medol of honor piece of dung! and all the mainstream people like bullies and drug dealers playing online bringing the you no what with them. that's who and what i despise not my fellow gamer loving his game.

@Andy9Beans Woah Woah Woah listening to any game website like it is law is failure for sure. Granted we are seeing a super flood of hype for this, but without it everyone would just ignore it for CoD and Battlefront. Seeing the gameplay and perks I am interested, but will play a friends first before buying and preordering.

@Andy9Beans i believe you (i think sony does the same thing with killzone 3), because we live in a world that everybody accepts a bribe but frontlines (kaos studio's first game) was a good FPS (no hype) so i think homefront will still be a good game, even if it's a hype right now. Only i have pc version pre-orderd so i hope Digital Extremes doesnt mess it up. And let THQ for once be in the spotlight with a FPS, they deserve it, it's always been EA and Activision.

THQ are paying Gamespot to promote Homefront. Don't believe anything any of the "journalists" working for Gamespot say about Homefront, it's all hype to justify the money THQ are giving them. If you want your games to be all hype and fancy trailers, all mouth but no trousers, then go ahead and preorder this!

at least something provides new gameplay rather than COD..but for me i think i'll wait 4 BF3.
