This generation of consoles has just been a HUGE disappointment. I will definitely be sticking with PC from now on.

I see this as a desperate attempt by Microsoft to try and catch up in console sells with PS4 at the expense of Square Enix and the Tomb Raider franchise. This gambit hasn't paid off for Microsoft simply because the outrage was so great that the secret of it being a timed exclusive couldn't be kept under wraps long enough for them to benefit from the exclusive.

Some people will just wait it out and see what happens others are so pissed that they will NEVER buy another Microsoft or Square Enix product EVER. ( I'm in this camp ) I don't think its wrong to try and compete with Sony, but the way Microsoft went about it was totally WRONG. They should have come out with their OWN exclusive IP and not highjacked a franchise that has ALWAYS been a multi-platform game.

I also think that if Square Enix doesn't do some damage control really really fast and find some way to limit or get out of this deal that this could be the finally nail in the coffin of the Tomb Raider franchise. I personally still hope the game comes to PS4 I'd love to play it but I won't be buying it new I'll buy it from some second hand shop just to keep the profits from going to Square Enix.

They have lost my trust after giving the worldwide gaming community the big middle finger ! It's going to take years to earn it back if it can be earned back. I think sometimes these game designers forget that its US who keep them in business and without us they be working for Google. They need to remember to never lose the plus of the gaming community and to ALWAYS listen to the gaming community for we are a vocal bunch and we have no problem saying how we feel or in telling them what we like and what we don't and why !

The Change.org petition has over 12,000 gaming voices on it from gamers all around the world. I have to say reading all those comments from all over the world gave me a sense of pride as I saw us come together from Russian to China to the UK to the US and everywhere in-between. We are the gaming Industry and not the people who simple serve us and make the games we enjoy and ANY gaming company that loses sight of that is destined for trouble. Thank You to all who signed and made their voice heard.

I'm hoping us PS4 players will get the change to play this game, while i'm not completely sure we will at this point as Spencer was vague in his comments only saying that ROTTR "could" go the way of Ryse and Dead Rising meaning coming to PC. Nothing was said about the ROTTR coming to PS4 we see.

Lastly please remember that while we have our console battles NOT all issues are about that like this one it's a gaming community issue. Remember Caring is Sharing and Sharing is Caring thats how sharing works !! Play ON !

Still not time for me. Neither is PS4. There's no games out now that I want to buy and the only games coming in 2014 that interest me are also coming out on PS3/360 and the only difference is resolution, something I'm fine with not spending $400 just to get.

I need a library of stuff I want to play. Buying for games that aren't out yet and sometimes so far off that there isn't even a release date seems silly to me. It's a damn near guaranteed way to get burned when bundles and price cuts come later. Plus, there's nothing to play so the console is just collecting dust being used purely for Netflix and other non-gaming stuff that you could do just as well on an old-gen system.

The UI is excellent. You're just another sheep that's burnt on Windows 8 because it's OMG CHANGE. It doesn't get in the way, looks great, and is customizable.

Nobody's trying to knock you down when it comes to power because you don't understand it and that's pretty obvious. You think RAM and GDDR3 and think you have any idea of what you're talking about. It's a hopeless cause.

Personally, I think that Microsoft is sitting on a glorious dev tool in the form of Kinect 2.0. The original Kinect was used mostly as a dev tool once people got their hands on the SDK, resulting in applications like drone tracking, simplified robot vision, and a cheap 3D scanner for 3D printing and modeling. The Kinect 2.0 is a much more sophisticated device with more tools, so Microsoft needs to announce an SDK for that thing. That is a cool device (not as a controller, which it isn't, but as a configurable human-machine interface).

@mprince131 the UI is clunky, get's in the way, looks ugly and simply doesn't work for a PC or console...the UI killed the 360 as well.....

PS4's UI makes more sense...whatever you play is always going to be moved to the front unless there's a disc in the machine then if you played a digital game or whatever it'll be second when you restart...

all of the game functions are on the bottom row with all system functions and network stuff is on the upper row and it isn't intrusive....

XBOX is junk plain and simple..frankly I'm surprised you aren't trying to knock me down because of the system power lol obviously that's a lost cause and this UI issues and what not is easier to argue about lol fanboys...

I'm finally getting an X1 because of Sunset Overdrive. That's my kinda game. I was going to pick one up for Dead Rising 3 but then found it it was dropping on PC so didn't need to. It just needs that one major exclusive like SO for me to drop my money on it. Hopefully it will continue to be worth the money down the line as more and more games drop on it.

Buy based on what is on the shelf not based on what is promised in a press conference. If you bought a XB1 based on last years press conferences, you'd be pretty sad that the entertainment box you were promised is turning into a gaming only box.

So far I've seen nothing that justifies purchasing a "next-gen" system (PS4 or Xone). The waiting game is gold, folks.
