Thanks for that, and it figures, more adds on Gamespot than You Tube now. Problem is definitely site related, been happening randomly for a few weeks now. The irritating add runs perfectly, then the video starts and hangs 20 seconds later....

That's what I thought too, but I had to use this fix for GameSpot more often than I do other sites.

I don't think that the cause of the problem is entirely on your side, even if the solution does.

@nl_skipper @tableofjapan In that case it doesn't. There is one small point of friction though... if sony keeps re-releasing games... why didn't they make the Ps4 backwards compatible? Reason seems simple... A. More production cost. B. Can't sell the same old games again.

Still though it seems like a bit of a d*ck move.

@tableofjapan Well they have said multiple times that a very large number of PS4 owners never had a PS3. With that statistic, it's a safe bet that there are a lot of potential new buyers for the game on PS4.


I'm not about to do your research for you though... how about I flip it and ask for you to show me where they said "oh, yea, this is for everyone to buy a second time, it's truly meant for everyone who owns the game already for the PS3".

'Sony says'. Key words here. Sony can make up any story to justify a silly remake that isn't even a classic. Face it: Sony is repackaging a known hit for lightning to strike twice. They also save RnD in Lowe of an original game.

Quit falling for marketing. Gamers are supposed to be more sophisticated..

I love how angry some are at TLOU Remastered. I thought it would get old by now, but nope, angry nerds keep on yelling about their displeasure over a game they have no interest in... it's both funny and sad.

@nazgoroth @nl_skipper that is not the way I see it :) I already own a Ps3, yes, that is true. I also own the PS3-version of the game. The thing is, I can trade in my PS3-game, and recieve an upgraded version for me to enjoy all over, complete with DLC for a couple bucks extra. I'll gladly pay a little extra for this content + the upgraded graphics because I truly loved the game.

We all have a choice :) I choose to swap in my ps3-version for a Ps4-version :) I gladly pay the few extra dollars. Everybody wins! It's not tha big of a deal (the way I see it). It's simple! I'm a fan :)

To some of you it might seem like wasted money, or money poorly spent. For this matter, all I can say is that video-gaming preferences is a highly subjective matter. I like this game, I can afford it. Not a "sheep", just a fan.

@tableofjapan this exactly, i did buy the remake of Oddworld... i mean 1997, i was... 11 back then... I remember it vividly.

Not buying any HD remakes (though i will buy the master chief pack but this only because i never owned halo 2).

The whole dicussion Xbox vs Ps4 is counter productive.

My eyes are on sight for TLOU Remastered and I love it when I play it on PS3 and I need to finishing getting my trophies and play all the DLC since I miss out from PS3 version.
