kinect kinect kinect, im a hardcore gamer it's cool the innivation but i'd prefer some more xbox exclusives or some news about the next xbox, stop trying to stuff kinect down my throat

cant wait to play kinect sat down on my pc with my keyboard at my finger tips 99% useless

@gatsbythepig Maybe that's because no GameSpot user was watching this when it was live, or they didn't bother enough to leave behind a comment? :P EDIT: Scratch that - there wasn't a live show. Maybe only live , e.g. posting of articles, but no live broadcasts. :P

Xbox 360 is still a wonderful especially with the release of 'Halo 4' coming out soon.

@Gelugon_baat They may have been earlier, but they weren't live.

In order to use the kinect with games the game developers will have to support it. I don't see that happening unless MS throws tons of money at them, which means more expensive to us! Not good.

didnt like 2 million people buy kinect or something? compared to the 55 million who have an xbox; that doesnt seem like it is expanding your life.

i cant wait for the 720. being able to use kinect on games like gears of war is going to be amazing. even though i have never even used kinect.

At least he admits that people are asking for more games on the system - hopefully they do something about that. It seems that the trend this CES for both MS and Sony is to push their systems as all-in-one entertainment devices (i.e. movie streaming and social media applications). Guess I'm just getting old, but I'd like games to be the primary focus for both the 360 and PS3. That said, I realize that both companies are desperate to grow their base and this seems to be the current strategy.

What's the use of a kinect on pc if you can't even play skyrim on it?

The whole way he was selling of Kinect just made me less interested in the device. I didn't see the whole interest in the first place, intereactive gaming, which is better than Wii and PSmove. But he was just saying with Kinect you can tell the console to find the movie and it'll find it and play it, you can tell it to pause, or rewind/fast forward. Then saying we are getting game companies to allowe you to do that too. So it's gonna cost £100 for Kinect, so i can then shout at it across the room to load Skyrim? I think i would pass on that.
